For those who didn't read the Author Note- On vacation until Dec. 8

Basically what the title says- they hit the end of Vol. 4 on Patreon, so I’m taking my customary break. The book is not canceled, not on Hiatus, and, continuing my usual custom, I have so, so many books piled up to read it’s legit alarming. I’m about twenty chapters into Vol. 5 in my drafts, but as always, I’m looking at them going “I gotta tighten this up. This isn’t hitting right.” Which is what these vacations are for- recharging, learning new things, and making sure that when Vol. 5 does start rolling out, it’s the best book it can be.

PS. Since I mentioned it before, Where Winds Meet is better with a controller, but the controlls remain deeply unintuitive and a lot of the systems are either poorly explained or not explained at all. I read a post recently where a Chinese player explained that the devs didn’t invest much in localizing because they figured foreigners wouldn’t get the setting, and are low-key shocked it’s doing as well as it is. So I do expect it to improve with time, and the single player experience is… okay, when it’s working. The price is right at ‘Free’ and the microtransactions are for cosmetics, so I’m pretty okay with it. On the plus side, you can make a rope dart charicter. On the down side, you can’t adjust the MC’s height/fingers so it doesn’t really look like Tian…
